Sylvia Pesold is the owner of SCDP Holistique Solutions.
In approximately 1998 she started to have severe liver and digestive issues which set her on the search of holistic remedies that resulted in significant benefit.
Several years later she lost two of her cats at age 12 and 13 due to improper medical direction, which she later found out could have been avoided had she been better informed both medically and holistically. She almost lost her third cat at 12 during this same period, but was able to immediately change his whole health regime and diet to be holistically oriented and he is now 17 and still going strong.
Therefore, when her 11 year old dog and 24 year old horse started to have serious digestive issues in 2006, she looked to pursue alternatives to medicinal remedies and go with the true holistic premise that the body will cure itself, provided you give it supplements that are beneficial to the whole body and do not impact key health maintenance organs like liver, kidneys and digestive tract — ie. probiotics vs antibiotics, supplements to strengthen the body to fight only the bad vs poisons to kill good and bad.
Sylvia's search led her to THE HOLISTIC HORSE in the USA, with its wonderful owners, Ruth Ann and Don, who seemed to have some real solutions for both of her animals as well as a wealth of knowledge through many years of applying these types of supplements and running their business.
The one issue they had is cross border — customs issues with these products proved to unpredictable and costly thus causing them to limit sales to the USA only.
Sylvia received an exception, and when the products proved wonderfully beneficial to all of her animals, she volunteered to become the Canadian Distributor for their products and address any customs issues so that these solutions can also be shared with the rest of her friends locally and Canada as a whole.
These products contribute to the health and well being of all of their animals and do their part for the environment. Nothing but beneficial nutrients will seep into our waters or food supply.
While this site is focused on animals, Sylvia still includes beneficial products for people that are not found at the local health stores.
